When I referred to hundreds and hundreds of references, I meant newspapers clippings, Nevada history books, Museum exhibits, and TV media reports. So what would you like to see gwickwire? We have it all here in Vegas. I do have question maybe you can help me with? Can you add links to other user pages? :If you mean linking to another page, sure. Just type <the text you want displayed>. So if I wanted the word pie to link to the article on blueberries, I could do it by typing blueberries, which makes blueberries. If you have newspaper articles and books that can cite your sources, feel free to add them. The templates at Template:Cite web and related ones will help a lot :) <span style="color:#3D0376">gwickwire</span><span style="position:absolute">talk</span>edits 02:56, 9 February 2013 (UTC) |

He may have been topic banned before, but the topic ban in question was in fact imposed just last week. [1] - The Bushranger One ping only 19:28, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
- His most recent discussion regarding the topic ban was just last week, but there's a long history as well. He's never followed a topic ban through, and has always been blocked for breaking it. As far as I can remember, the last block came with a message saying "you're indef topic banned, appeal after you're a good editor". Regardless, it's too soon for an appeal, and he's WP:NOTHERE for the encyclopedia, just for his POV. gwickwiretalkedits 19:41, 1 February 2013 (UTC)

Thai Wikipedia mainly uses Buddhist Era (BE, พ.ศ.), which is more than Christian Era for 543 years just in number. So, 2555 BE is already the same year of 2012 AD. --Octra Bond (talk) 06:32, 2 February 2013 (UTC)
- I'll apologize and trout myself then. Sorry. gwickwiretalkedits 06:40, 2 February 2013 (UTC)
There isn't really a speedy that fits, so instead I have added it to the existing MfD. Cheers, JohnCD (talk) 21:51, 3 February 2013 (UTC)
My user profile was deleted for copyright infiringement, but i won the company Gladiator Merchandise that I am talking about. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sasam129 (talk • contribs) 17:06, 4 February 2013 (UTC)
- It doesn't matter that you own the company if you violated copyright. I am not an administrator, so I cannot see the deleted text, nor is an administrator anywhere near likely to give it to you or me. So, assuming you copy-pasted the whole thing, that is a huge no-no. Unless you are willing to allow anyone, anywhere, to reuse the text for any reason with only so little as a link back to the original page, then you cannot use it on Wikipedia. If you can agree to this, see WP:Donating copyrighted materials for how to do that. Be warned that it'll still require massive cleanup to meet WP:N, WP:TONE and other policies. gwickwiretalkedits 18:14, 4 February 2013 (UTC)

Demiurge can be held responsible for whatever he does elsewhere, but you will be held responsible for any edit warring you do on his talk page. Per the link above, he can remove whatever he wishes from his talk page. Ryan Vesey 23:16, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah, we understand. We also understand that Demi does NOT "own" his talkpage, and we are allowed to add a message if we so wish to do so. The issue isn't so much the edit war, it's the lack of communication in every method possible, and the violation of WP:REFACTOR multiple times with no basis in policy, and removal of valid comments. Also, there may be an element of stalking of John F. Lewis by Demiurge, which I don't want to list all of the evidence (rather, I'd not like to find it) right now. gwickwiretalkedits 23:22, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
- I disagree. The issue is the edit war. When you post a comment to his talk page, it's assumed that he's read it; posting it over and over again serves no purpose. If you have a problem with his behavior that he won't address, ANI. Don't fricking edit war over something so inane as an OWNTALK removal. Writ Keeper ⚇♔ 23:34, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
- We stopped already. We were just trying as many avenues as possible before AN/I. Thanks Writ, and apologies to you for having to review the report that shouldn't have happened on my part. gwickwiretalkedits 23:35, 7 February 2013 (UTC)

- I have put a note in to state it was refactored [2]. Please carry on with normal business. If I see any more edit warring, I will hand out blocks. WormTT(talk) 15:06, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
Re: Amy Hanley
Gwickrwire, thank you for your advise. Amy Hanley's father was a mob boss in Las Vegas, Nevada and Amy's mother Wendy Hanley wrote a bio book "Vegas Rag Doll" which is a Las Vegas mob book published by Stephens Media who own 88 newspapers throughout the Country and only publish Las Vegas Histroy books. This is one of the reason's Amy was cast for Sin City Rules, because they needed someone connected to the Las Vegas mob and someone with Las Vegas history. If you watch Sin City Rules, all episodes you will see the producers focus in regards to Amy was the mob. This is why it is relevant to the Sin City Rules Wiki page to inform the public about were Amy comes from. A lot of the scenes in Sin City Rules were shot at The Mob Bar, Cappo's, and Amy's mother, Wendy Hanley's birthday was held inside The Mob Museum were Wendy has a display, so yes you can say Amy is part of Las Vegas history because of were she comes from.
The show was cancelled because of Alicia Jacobs feeding back to the media negative reports. The ratings dropped because of the negative publicity. Not because of Amy. I would not be surprised if this account Gwickrwire is associated with Alicia Jacobs. Ask the producers of the show, they blame the demise of the show on Alicia.
Las Vegas was built by the Mob. Amy's father came to Vegas in 1936, helped build Vegas through his Union activities and ran Vegas with a strong fist and a gun. That was the way it was back then. This is part of Vegas History. Mafia Mob Doll (talk) 19:40, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
- Please spell my name right if you're going to insult me. Also, WP:AGF and don't tell me I'm related to anyone. It doesn't matter that you think "Las Vegas was built by the Mob". It doesn't matter that it's part of what you see as "Vegas History". What matters is the formatting and tone are dreadful, and you have very few if any reliable sources. You make a lot of claims there. Show me a reliable source (NEWSPAPER) that says that. Otherwise, please refrain from making unsourced claims, here or elsewhere. Thanks. gwickwiretalkedits 21:11, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
- Instead of attacking me, why don't you try to help me? What type of newspaper clippings would you like to prove what? It does not matter what I think, what matters is what has been passed down generation after generation and written in Nevada history. There are hundreds and hundreds of references. By the way I never said you were related to anyone, I said your account could possibly be associated with Alicia Jacobs. If I was wrong, I apologize. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MafiaMobDoll (talk • contribs) 22:57, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
- I never attacked you. I also thank you for the apology on the issue of being related to anyone. I'd like newspaper articles, full articles that thoroughly cover the subject, to prove everything in the article. I'm terribly sorry, but we can't use what's been passed down through generations to source in an article. gwickwiretalkedits 23:06, 8 February 2013 (UTC)

- If you mean linking to another page, sure. Just type
<the text you want displayed>
. So if I wanted the word pie to link to the article on blueberries, I could do it by typingblueberries
, which makes blueberries. If you have newspaper articles and books that can cite your sources, feel free to add them. The templates at Template:Cite web and related ones will help a lot :) gwickwiretalkedits 02:56, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
