UN/EDIFACT is the international EDI standard developed under the United Nations. The acronym stands for "United Nations/Electronic Data Interchange For Administration, Commerce, and Transport." The work of maintenance and further development of this standard is done through UN/CEFACT, the United Nations Centre for Electonic commerce For Administration, Commerce, and Transport under the UN Committee on Trade, Economic and Social Council.
