The 2012–13 Liga Femenina de Baloncesto is the 50th edition of the Spanish premier women's basketball championship. It took place from 15 October 2011 to April 2011. Eleven teams took part in the championship.

Competition format

The first three qualified teams after the first half of the season and the host one will play the Copa de la Reina. If the host team finishes in the top three, the fourth qualified will join the competition.

After the Regular Season, the top six teams will play the play-offs. The two first qualified teams will join directly the semifinals while the teams 3rd to 6th will start from the quarterfinals rounds.
