Kurd1 Channel was an independent Kurdish Language satellite channel broadcasting from France. Its European studios are based in France, Germany and Sweden.[1] On December 31, 2012, the channel stopped brodcasting due to economic reasons.

Programming

Kurd1 Channel gives considerable space in its programming to news, cinema sport for the Kurds. Kurd1 produces a substantial part of its programmes itself. It broadcasts from Eutelsat's Hotbird 6 13° East satellite.[2]
