* [[Music of the Czech Republic]] -- this article is an unholy mess, and a very important topic that deserves to be well-covered!! I've made a few preliminary observations about things to address on the talk page, but I'd like to get a few more people involved before jumping right in and chopping it to pieces. * [[Saint Wenceslaus I, Duke of Bohemia]] -- needs to be expanded and given greater specifics/details, particularly on his significance as a religious (and cultural) figure, hagiography/iconography, legends etc. The German-language version of the article looks like a good example to follow, at least in terms of organization. This help wanted list acts as a central location for people to put up requests for assistance with existing articles. Perhaps you find yourself stuck trying to write about an aspect of a subject with which you're not entirely familiar. Or maybe you need help polishing your English phrasing or reading a Czech source. Whatever your need, put a link to the article you need help with, and then tell us what you need done there. Oh and please sign your post (put ~~~~ at the end of your post) so we know how long the request has been active and whom to get in touch with once we've given assistance.

  • Constitutional act of the Czech Republic: My Czech is, alas, not good enough for reading legal documents, so I'm having a hard time tracking down the substance of Acts Number 300/2000, Number 395/2001 and Number 448/2001. I'm pretty sure the two 2001 acts deal with the Czech National Bank and the relative authority of various municipalities, but I'm not sure which bill does what, or what the Acts specifically do. If anyone could take a look at the original Czech wording (as found on the Czech Senate webpages, for example), and then summarize them in this article, I'd be grateful. • Eastern Europe -- this is serious. The article is fraught with errors, mislabels and slanted facts as if much of it was written by ultraconservatives during the Cold War from an ethnocentric position. If you agree with that the Czech Republic is a Central European state rather than a Soviet satellite, please assist in rewording/correcting the article lead and body.
