Veronica Pedrosa was the lead news presenter at the Kuala Lumpur broadcast centre of Al Jazeera English from 2005 to 2010.[1] [2][3][4]
Biography
She is the daughter of Filipino journalist Carmen Navarro Pedrosa, who wrote a tell-all biography on then-First Lady Imelda Marcos during the Martial Law Era in the Philippines. The Pedrosa family went into exile in London to avoid political persecution by then-President Marcos' regime.
She is a former news anchor of CNN International and BBC World, as well as a former journalist with ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs.
Pedrosa was named Best News Anchor at the Asian Television Awards in 2004.
