Miller began his career in 2007 as a member of the hip hop group Ill Spoken before embarking on a solo career. Following the release of several mixtapes, Miller was signed to independent record label Rostrum Records in 2011. He released his debut extended play On and On and Beyond on March 29, 2011, and it peaked at number 55 on the US Billboard 200.[1] Afterwards, he released his debut single "Knock Knock". Miller's second single, "Donald Trump", peaked at number 75 on the US Billboard Hot 100, marking his first entry on the chart.[2] On November 8, 2011, Miller released his debut studio album, Blue Slide Park. The album preceded by the singles "Frick Park Market" and "Party on Fifth Ave." Blue Slide Park peaked at number one on the Billboard 200.[1] The album also managed to chart in Canada, Denmark and France.[3][4][5]
