Odd, but not peculiar

Please specify in detail what "non-controversial technical task" justifies deleting this article. If "merge histories," what alternate article should it be merged with? Note that the template itself says you should specify why it meets the criteria. Bgoldnyxnet (talk) 14:29, 23 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I see you have started up a formal "article for deletion" on this, so I'll take my comments there. Bgoldnyxnet (talk) 17:22, 23 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

AfD

Just letting you know that I removed the AfD template from V._B._Rajendra_Prasad as it was sourced and notable. Cheers and happy editing, TheStrikeΣagle 14:48, 23 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Adding reference to Wikipedia articles

Just follow the steps 1, 2 and 3 as shown and fill in the details

Hello Uncletomwood! Please do not forget to add references from reliable sources for the content you add to Wikipedia. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Adding a well formatted references is very easy to do.

  1. While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "cite" click on it
  2. Then click on "templates",
  3. Choose the most appropriate template and fill as many details as you can,

This will add a well formatted reference that would be helpful in case the website link (web URL) becomes inactive (dead/link rot) after some time. You can read more about it on Help:Edit toolbar or see this video File:RefTools.ogv. thanks and regards --TheStrikeΣagle 15:38, 23 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

WP India Tagging on new articles

Hello Uncletomwood! I just wanted to remind you not to forget to add the tag {{WP India}} the talk pages of India related articles that you create, actually I was browsing some of the Indian articles that were still untagged with {{WP India}}, after which I came here. Please note that this tagging helps a lot in improving the articles by attracting Indian editors to the article. At last I would request you to please consider Checking the talk pages of articles that you have created and tag it by adding {{WP India}} if it does not already have one. Keep up the good work, thanks and regards --TheStrikeΣagle 15:40, 23 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Added reference details for Alberto and Elena Cortina Foundation page

Hello,

I Added reference details and explanations on the deletion page for Alberto and Elena Cortina Foundation please let me know if they are in a better format now. Also please note that the "click here to leave me a message" link on your user page points to the talk page of another user (torreslfchero), I left my comment there by mistake after following that link.

Thank you for feedback and help Vicentealvarez2 (talk) 12:53, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Tom,

I received notification that you had objections to the Let's Hear it for America page. This is really my first article posting, and I am anxious to learn more. A couple of thoughts ...

1) Every word in that posting is exactly as it was written in 1978-1979. A member of the Proctor (Proctor & Gamble) was the primary patron of the organization's creation.

2) Although Let's Hear it for America was certainly not a success, the concepts articulated were then and continue to be valid today.

3) If you are interested, I could certainly put you in touch with people who were aware of the organization when it was created.

4) The movement towards the establishment of a Secretary of Peace in the U.S. Cabinet is two hundred and twenty years old as of this year. Although LHIFA is a certainly a modest footnote in its history, the fact remains that it did exist.

As I said, please let me know if this is an entry to which you are categorically opposed, or if it you have suggestions on how it should be modified so as to meet with your approval.

Thanks.

Regards,

Concerning El pintor del alma...

....please us the A2 speedy onl if there really is an article about the subject on another wiki-project (as, e.g., in the Spanish Wiki here....); just being in another language than English is not enough. Please list those articles in foreign languages at WP:PNT. Regards. Lectonar (talk) 16:00, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Crystin

Unfortunately I did not quite understand. Please explain what is wrong. I live in distant Russia, do not know her personally, and there is no interest. It is unfortunate that it turns. Hodopathy

It is promotional because of this section: "discovered by renowned scientist Dr. Hembrom .Dr. Hembrom revived this traditional method and reintroduced it to the villagers through the means of Hodopathy Ethno Medicine Research and Development Centre and Phuli". It doesn't matter that this is a non-profit-making organisation, you are still seeking to promote it. Deb (talk) 12:49, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hey Deb, could you possibly userfy a copy of it so I can take a peek. Tom is starting adoption with me soon, and I just wanted to be able to reference it. If it's too promotional even for user space, I understand, but if not, I would appreciate if you would userfy it for Tom. Thanks. Go Phightins! 13:12, 29 March 2013 (UTC)`[reply]
Okay, it's here: User:Uncletomwood/Hodopathy Deb (talk) 14:09, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Deb, based on my quick read and a very cursory review of the sources, it seems the topic is probably notable, but I agree that the article is not written from a neutral POV. We'll cover this in adoption. Thanks again for your help Deb! Go Phightins! 14:14, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it seemed to me that the article was written with emphasis on the good work done by the organisation rather than on the concept. Deb (talk) 15:04, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
