Worteh Sampson (born 25 June 1981 in Monrovia, Liberia) is a Liberian soccer forward who currently plays for the Detroit Waza of the Professional Arena Soccer League.
College
In 2001, Sampson received a scholarship to play at Schoolcraft College in Michigan, where he was an integral part of the programs success until 2002. Immediately following Schoolcraft, he received another 2-year grant to play at Madonna University in Michigan. There he encountered significant exposure for his record breaking achievements. He graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing.
Professional
The Detroit Ignition of Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) drafted Sampson in 2006. He played for the Ignition for three straight seasons, starting with 2006-07. For the 2008-09 season, the team played in the Xtreme Soccer League.
In 2008, Sampson signed with the Charlotte Eagles of the USL Second Division.
Sampson played the 2010-11 MISL season for the Baltimore Blast, scoring 8 goals and 8 assists in 14 regular games.[1] In 2011, he moved to the Detroit Waza.
