First the website were I pasted information from is MINE! Second, due to the continued destructive edits being done I have now taken down all the info I had posted and no longer support the use of my info about Anma on wikipedia. Some fool made a huge mess of the China section of the history. PURE CRAP! Waste of my time.

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Anma, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thank you. Alexf(talk) 17:14, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that the username you have chosen, "Yotsume", seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of something other than yourself. Please note that you may not edit on behalf of a company, group, institution, product, or website, and Wikipedia does not allow usernames that are promotional or accounts that are shared. If you are willing to use a personal account, please take a moment to create a new account or request a username change that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our Conflict of interest guideline and Plain and simple conflict of interest guide, and remember that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Alexf(talk) 17:15, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Atlantima. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page Anma, because it seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you.

Re: Anma

Hello, I saw you message about how I was "making inaccurate edits" that "completely altered the meaning" of the Anma article and "Being that I am one of only a handful of fully certified "Anmashi" (anma practitioners) in the USA certified in Japan I would like to ask that you consult with me before altering my hard work". Please realize that Wikipedia is a collaborative work and "No one, no matter how skilled, or of how high standing in the community, has the right to act as though he or she is the owner of a particular article... Once you have posted it to Wikipedia, you cannot stop anyone from editing text you have written." I do not feel that my edits changed the meaning of the article. I feel that the changes I made were within Wikipedia guidelines. Specifically:

  1. I noticed some content that was copied and pasted from another website, so I modified it to prevent copyright infringement.
  2. I formatted some of the Japanese text to conform to the Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Japan-related articles.
  3. If your website is truly a valuable resource on this topic, you should not have to add it yourself. "you should avoid linking to a site that you own, maintain, or represent—even if Wikipedia guidelines seem to imply that it may otherwise be linked. When in doubt, you may go to the talk page and let another editor decide. This suggestion is in line with Wikipedia's conflict-of-interest guidelines."
