Nimpith village primary hospital is the main hospital of this village. There is another health centre Mathurapur village primary hospital in the adjacent village Mathurapur. But, both these hospitals lack modern facilities and serious patients are often referred to the hospitals of Kolkata. Nimpith is a village in West Bengal, India.[1] It is located in the South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal state.[2][3]

Education

The Vivekananda Institute of Biotechnology is located in Nimpith.[4][5] In 2007, the institute established the Vivekananda Center for Skills (VCS) in West Bengal at four locations.[6] VCS works with farmers to help them develop skills and knowledge, improve upon productivity, and also provides training for the farmers.[6] VCS also focuses upon helping unemployed people to build their careers, create enterprises and find employment.[6]

Commerce

Nimpith has a branch of the State Bank of India and a hospital named Gramin Hospital.
