Supare is a town in [[Akoko]] South West Local Government Area of Ondo State which is one of the six states within the South West geo-political zone in Nigeria. Supare-Akoko, is a town in southwestern Nigeria, located in Ondo State. Supare is about 100 km from Akure, the Ondo State capital. Supare is a town in Akoko South West Local Government Area of Ondo State which is one of the six states within the South West geo-political zone in Nigeria. Like other states in this region, it has predominantly rain forest with heavy presence of high undulating rocky and mountainous earth formations.

Supare is a town filled with glamor and with a population of almost 400,000. Supare is a notable land with men of elite such as the former speaker of the house of assembly; also it can be said of the present day Deputy Governor of Ondo State and also one time chairman of PDP in Ondo state are indigenous citizens of the Supare. Alhaji Alli Olanusi, the incumbent deputy governor (February 24th, 2009 till date) is a foremost son of Supare Akoko[1] Supare is on boarder at the west akungba, on the southwest Oka town and in the east Emure.

The community members are mostly farmers,artisan and some other are traders. The community is also blessed with the presence of CRUSH Rock Industries (Nigeria) Limited [2] . The community can boast of three secondary school and 8 primary school with the presence of some other private primary school and a police station to ,maintain law and order.

The community also carries out it celebration every in the month of August popularly known as SUPARE DAY. It's an occasion witnessed by many, who come from the cities and and other part of the country.
