God Is Able is the twentieth album in the live contemporary worship series by Hillsong Church. It was recorded at the Sydney Entertainment Centre in Australia by Reuben Morgan, Darlene Zschech and the Hillsong Worship Team on 7 November 2010. Most of the songs were written by Reuben Morgan, Ben Fielding and Dylan Thomas. Other songwriters include Darlene Zschech, Joel Houston, Harrison Wood, Jill McCloghry, Sam Knock, Joel Davies, Jason Ingram and Chris Tomlin. God Is Able debuted at number three on the ARIA Albums Chart. It was nominated at the 43rd GMA Dove Awards for Inspirational Album of the Year.^[3] The DVD was recognized at the 2012 ARIA No.1 Chart Awards for spending one week at number one on the Australian chart.^[4]

An extended version of the song 'Cry of the Broken' written by Darlene Zschech also appears on Darlene's latest solo album 'You Are Love' released September 2011.
The song 'God in Everything' sung by Matt Crocker is on the DVD, but is not featured on the CD.
The text 'God is Able' featured on the cover was handmade.
The songs 'Awakening' and 'Go' are also featured on the latest Hillsong United album Aftermath. The song Awakening was written by Reuben Morgan & Chris Tomlin together and was originally recorded by the Passion Worship Band, led by Chris Tomlin.
This is the 20th album in the annual 'Hillsong Live' album series.

This Special version of the traditional hymn "It is Well with My Soul" was recorded to aid the victims of the 2011 Queensland Floods in Australia, with all the proceeds from the sale of this single going to the Queensland Flood Relief Effort. The song was recorded in Sydney, Australia in three days, mixed in England overnight and finally mastered in Los Angeles, California before being release for sale on iTunes the following weekend. The single features Darlene Zschech as lead vocal with a new added bridge composed by Reuben Morgan and Ben Fielding.
