Brothers Raja Raja Kammath (Mammootty) and Deva Raja Kammath (Dileep) attempt to open a new branch of their restaurant in a renovated hotel. Problem arises when an opposition hotel owner fears that opening Kammath brothers hotel will affect his business. He with the help of (Suraj Venjaramoodu)try to stop kammath brothers from opening the hotel.

Mahalakshmi (Rima Kallingal)is a municipal secretary who mistake kammath brothers as Suraaj provide her with wrong information about them. She neglects to provide them with the hotel license were as Raja Raja kammath obtains license from the minister. Cold war starts between kammath brothers and Mahalakshmi. One night Raja Raja kammath save mahalakshmi from a gang of goons who is trying to harass her.

Gopi (Baburaj) is Kammath brother's driver & bodyguard. Mahalakshmi ask Raja Raja kammath for a help as someone is following her sister Rekha (Karthika Nair) everyday on the way to her work, Raja raja kammath finds out that the stranger who is following Rekha is none other than his own brother Deva raja kammath(Dileep). He goes to mahalakshmi's house to ask Rekha's hand in marriage.

After several twists it is revealed that Rekha is actually Mahalakhmi's sister-in-law. She was married to her brother Suresh(Narain)who is an Indian Revenue Service officer (assistant commissioner of incometax). Her brothers who refuse to give her hand in marriage as she is the owner of all the properties they enjoy kill Suresh at their first night. But the kerala police could not locate the criminal and Rekha's brothers are trying to take her back.

It is also revealed that Rekha is dump. Dileep still in love with her persuades Rekha to accept his love and marry him. On the day of marriage Rekha's brothers try to kill Dileep and the brothers manage to fight and hand them over to the police.

Dileep weds Rekha and Mahalakshi is married to Krishna Kumar, with whom her marriage was fixed earlier by her brother Suresh.
