El Rosal is a neighbourhood in Caracas located in the very geographic center of the city in Chacao municipality. It is an important financial center and it has a small residential area as well. El Rosal has on average one of the highest priced real estate in the country.
This neighbourhood holds many of the most important enterprises in Venezuelan territory such as Caracas Stock Exchange, Asociación Bancaria de Venezuela,Banco Nacional de Crédito, Banco Canarias, Banco Federal, Banco Occidental de Descuento, Inverunión, Standford Bank (Venezuela), BFC, Banco del Tesoro, Banco Confederado, bolívar Banco, Helm Bank, Interbank Seguros, BFC Casa de Bolsa, además de Bancaribe y Banesco Seguros. It has also some international firms established like 3M and Bayer
El Rosal also hols Denmark, Finland, Italy, Mexico, South Africa and Norway embassys and some of the best hotels in the city.
Geography
El Rosal borders Libertador municipaity to the west, El Retiro Neighbourhood to the east, Las Mercedes to the south and Caracas Country Club and Campo Alegre neighbourhood to the north.
