Supercell is a Finnish video game development company founded in June 2010. The company is known for their debut game Gunshine.net, which ran in any browser on any computer operating system. The company aims at new kinds of online games that offer a much deeper experience than basic social media games, but are more accessible than the hard-core PC online games. Supercell started developing games for mobile devices in 2011 and have since then released two games, Clash of Clans and Hay Day. Accel Partners invested 12 million dollars in Supercell in 2011.[1]
