Eddie Stobart: Trucks & Trailers is a documentary television programme series made by Princess Productions for Channel 5 following the day-to-day runnings of the Stobart Group. The show airs Fridays at 8pm.
About the show
Eddie Stobart: Trucks & Trailers features some of the day-to-day activities of the Stobart Group, the UK logistics company, with a particular focus on its Eddie Stobart road haulage division.
The show features a handful of recurring character drivers including Tim Fox, Matt Ekins, Ashley Maddocks, Fiona Soltysiak and Mark Dixon. Series 3 sees the drivers taking their spotless and trademark trucks all across Great Britain and Europe. In the later series it has also shown features on their rail division and the Stobart owned Southend Airport.
Since Series 1 the show has been narrated by Ben Crowe.
History
The first episode was broadcast on 24 September 2010 and the first series was released on DVD in July 2011. A second series was aired later 20 May 2011. The third series began on 2 March 2012. The fourth series began on 14 September 2012. The fifth series began 3 May 2013.
