Film career
Ranjini made her film debut with a cameo role in China Town, where she appeared as herself, the anchor of Idea Star Singer. She appeared in the 2013 Malayalam film named Entry opposite Baburaj which was her first film in a lead role, playing a police officer, ACP Shreya.[1] She signed her second film with internationally acclaimed director Rupesh Paul and looking forward to appear in a steamy item number.[2]

Controversy
In May 2013, Ms Haridas, caused ruckus at Cochin International Airport by cutting ahead of many passengers waiting in the line. A non resident Indian, Mr Binoy, protested, and she called the police. Both were charged with causing trouble. In Sepetmeber 2007 a MMS clip became viral allegedly of Ranjini. Though she refused it was not her, the video shown a girl flashing her nude body to the camera.
