Anna Grodzka (born 16 March 1954 in Otwock) is a Polish politician. Grodzka was elected to the Sejm in the 2011 Polish parliamentary elections as a candidate for the left-liberal Palikot's Movement and is the first openly transgender Member of Parliament in Poland, and as of May 2013 is the only remaining openly transgender MP in the world.[1]
Biography
Born in 1954 as Krzysztof Bęgowski, she transitioned in 2009[2][3][4][5] . She was a functionary of Polish United Workers' Party. She was an entrepreneur and worked in publishing, poligraphy and filmmaking.
