Reliance Solar is an Indian company and Reliance Group's solar energy initiative. It aims to "bring solar energy systems and solutions primarily to remote and rural areas."[1] Their purpose is to bring about a Transformation in the quality of life. As all of us know, Sun provides us the continuous flow of the renewable Energy source. It is the source of energy that sustains all living systems. It drives life. It is proved during the studies that solar based Energy solutions have a long life and they can be designed to meet various kinds of load and Reliability requirements. The Reliance Solar Group is an attempt to connect this Source of energy using the Photovoltaic technology for the betterment of mankind.[2]
As a part of this Endeavor, Reliance Solar is developing and offering a range of products , systems as well as solutions like solar Lanterns, street and home lighting systems, Refrigeration system, Water purification systems and solar Air conditioners as well. All these products ,systems and solutions are part of the Downstream component of the solar value chain. Reliance Group is concurrently working on the development of the Upstream[disambiguation needed] and Midstream components in an Integrated manner. They are developing the components from Polysilicon, ingots, Wafers, Modules and Cells.[disambiguation needed][3]
History
