Eighth Generation Consoles

I'm looking for additional outside opinions into the inclusion or exclusion of Video Game Consoles into the 8th Generation article. Move to NVIDIA SHIELD

$349 price is absurd

From the template: "this is price at initial release, not the current price."
The initial release will take place on 6/27. Barring unforeseen circumstances where they decide to raise the price again, the price at initial release will actually be $299. -Kai445 (talk) 07:06, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

That's my bad. I was unaware of the template message. I guess it depends on the definition of "introduced" in this situation, as I'm unaware of a recent video game product that lowered its price before it was released (although fingers are crossed).
