"Phenomena" [1] is the title song by rock music supergroup Phenomena from their first self-titled album, released on Bronze/Arista records in 1985.
Details
The song's refrain, "Something like a phenomenon", is echoed in previous uses, such as Liquid Liquid's "Cavern", Melle Mel's "White Lines (Don't Don't Do It)", LL Cool J's "Phenomenon", and De La Soul's "Ego Trippin' (Part Two)").
In 2006, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs released Show Your Bones, an album which featured a different version of the song.
The song was featured in the 2008 horror film, The Ruins and a 2013 Cadillac television advertisement.
