Bishop Gilpin School is a primary school in Wimbledon, London, catering for children of both sexes between the ages of xx and xx years old. It was founded in xxxx as a replacement for the nearby Central School. It is a Church of England school[1] named after the mid-twentieth century Bishop of Kingston Upon Thames, William Gilpin[2] n[3][4]
Construction on the Lake Road site began in 1964, and the school opened in xxxx.
