A Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMedSci, BMedSc, BMSc, BSci(Med)) degree is an academic degree awarded for completed courses. These courses can last between 1-3 years.
United Kingdom
In the United Kingdom Bachelor of Medical Science degrees are awarded by Nottingham, Southampton, and Dundee Medical Schools. Nottingham[1] and Southampton[2] award the degree as a standard part of their undergraduate medicine courses after the 3rd year of study.
Dundee awards the degree only following an optional intercalated year by medical & dental students[3]; this degree is synonymous with intercalated BSc degrees awarded by other medical schools and can be achieved in several subjects.
