Epsom Downs was in wrong category. Re-categorised per talk. Std def. A Main Line has dedicated track all the way to a London Terminus and never overlaps another main line; or is a long-distance cross-capital route (Crossrail, Crossrail 2 or Thameslink)
The New North Main Line is not longer called that, it is the Acton-Northolt Line. The Hayes Line is the Mid-Kent Line so avoided duplication.

This template's initial visibility currently defaults to autocollapse, meaning that if there is another collapsible item on the page (a navbox, sidebar, or table with the collapsible attribute), it is hidden apart from its title bar; if not, it is fully visible.

To change this template's initial visibility, the |state= parameter may be used:

  • {{Railway lines in London|state=collapsed}} will show the template collapsed, i.e. hidden apart from its title bar.
  • {{Railway lines in London|state=expanded}} will show the template expanded, i.e. fully visible.
