As an experienced editor here who works extensively with articles on academics, I gave the article a further review. He is obviously notable, both under WP:PROF and, because of his books, as WP:AUTHOR. There is some considerable rewriting needed, however. (1), add reviews of his books, which are needed to clarify his notability . (2). Rewrite the timeline as a paragraph, omitting minor positions. Clarify that the professorships in Illinois, Texas, and Arizona were full professorships. Find a specific source for the bio--there does not seem to be one listed. (3) Are the journal publications selected or complete? We usually do selected. (4)We do not normally emphasise patents unless they are commercially exploited--it would be best to say he received 5, and give the details in a footnote. Don't use full caps, even tho the patents themselves do. I';d advise you to do this all quickly. Please don't be disheartened by the previous review--just as anyone can edit here, anyone can review.
