Thank you for your contribution. Please note that this article is in the draft phase on my user page, and therefore it is not ready for scrutiny. I have pre-populated numerous articles with the [[Task Force 60]] link, so this Task Force 60 article will not be orphaned. New Student - kagalive1985
Hello! Thanks for creating this course, how are you going? Loving it so far even though I just started haha. Hopefully I can hold my interest in this to completion. Might learn a thing or two, hell might even learn three! You just never know. Best Wishes and Warm Regards. Kagalive1985 (talk) 14:20, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
I've finished my most recent exam! --Kagalive1985 (talk) 14:41, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
- Kagalive1985, it's great to have you on board! It's my pleasure and passion to run this course, and I'm glad you're enjoying it. As I note in my feedback to your first exam (which requires your attention), it's a learning process for me, too, and anything you have to tell me is greatly appreciated. I certainly hope that you learn some, although you've impressed me thus far! Thanks for posting your row in the table. I fixed it so that the links were correct (you just switched my userpage with yours, nbd) and for spacing issues. Also, in the future, when generating exams, please remove the parentheses from the input box.
- I think you'll see that I was quite harsh, as I always am. This isn't just you, it's to hold me accountable for making sure you know your stuff (even if you do, if I have any doubt, I want to make sure). Please take a look back through your first exam. Thanks, good job, and keep it up! --Jackson Peebles (talk) 02:45, 27 July 2013 (UTC)

Please elaborate how adding README.1ST and History isn't constructive?
And how Summarizing my edit as "(identified as test/vandalism using STiki)"
What is STiki?
I'm a human being that has been there, and done that. I ran IBM 360
mainframes and DEC PDP-8s and PDP-11s with 16 K of core and 256BPI
magnetic tapes for NASA. My first home computer was a 6 foot tall
rack of equipment that plugged into the 220 V electric stove outlet
in the kitchen.

!README files on DECUS tapes from the 1970s.
How is adding "README.1ST" as "Information that you need to read before
you get to the General Information" considered "test / vandalism"?
How is adding "Some readme files have been seen with !README as the
first part of the filename to take advantage of the sorting - the "!"
(exclamation point) character sorts ahead of "A" and would be the
first file in the directory list." considered "test / vandalism"?
I mounted and read DECUS tapes on PDP-11s at NASA/JPL in Pasadena.
The DECUS software (like the compilers) was frequently better than the DEC stuff.

the IBM PC was introduced in 1981. Word didn't show up until 1983.
Yes, Microsoft hijacked the DOC suffix. They could have used WRD for Word.

Wikipedia is supposed to be an online encyclopedia. An encyclopedia
has history in it. I added history:
- "The first time this contributor saw a "readme" file was on a

- a list of contributors and their contact information, and
- then several paragraphs documenting each contributed file.
−
− Anybody have any older history?
How is adding something that is a part of Wikipedia considered vandalism - especially
when I'm ASKING for additional knowledgeable contributions to an article? Us
old farts are dying off and our knowledge and history is dying with us.
You reverted my contribution. Fine. Let's go through my contribution,
