Given Names Ufuoma Isioro Onobrakpeya, born 21st Feb. 1971, to Bruce and Victoria Onobrakpeya. Ufuoma is a 3rd generation artist, and was apprenticed to his father [[Bruce_Onobrakpeya|Bruce Onobrakpeya]] for 2 decades. He graduated with degree in Painting from the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State of Nigeria in 1995. While in Benin worked closely with Prof. Irein Wangboje, a leading African art educationist and printmaker. Ufuoma is a founding member of the Annual Harmattan Workshop started in 1998. He received his masters at the Camberwell College of Art, University of London in 2002, specializing in Printmaking. He currently is a lecturer at the Yaba College of Techmology, Yaba Lagos where he teaches Fine art. He has exhibited widely in Nigeria and Internationally.
