Many pundits were lauding his skill, size and strength and that he was destined for higher honours, but a comination of poor form and injuries saw hgim in and out of first grade until he was snapped up by the cowboys for the 2005 season. In 2005 Webb started with all guns blazing with very strong form forcing his way into the [[Rugby League State of Origin|Queensland State of Origin]] team. Carl Webb (born March 20 1981 in Mount Isa, Queensland) is a rugby league player for the North Queensland Cowboys in the National Rugby League competition.
Carl webb first made his NRL debut against the North Queensland Cowboys in 2000. the next year he made his debut for Queensland and scored possibly one of the best origin tries on debut.
