Acceptance Speech is the fifth studio album and sixth overall release from American post-hardcore band Dance Gavin Dance, and is to be released on October 8, 2013.

This album will mark the first appearances by co-lead vocalist Tilian Pearson, bass guitarist Tim Feerick, and guitarist Josh Benton. This is also the first Dance Gavin Dance album to not have production handled by Kris Crummett.

On July 19, Rise Records released the single "The Robot With Human Hair Pt. 4" through their Youtube channel.

Artwork

The Acceptance Speech cover art features a pen drawing by artist Mattias Adolfsson, who has also provided the artwork for all of the band's previous studio albums, and it bears a particular stylistic resemblance to the cover art of 2009's Happiness. Some fans believe that the artwork resembles 'The Robot With Human Hair' giving an Acceptance Speech, the characters around the robot are thought to resemble the characters from the covers of the other Dance Gavin Dance albums, due to their resemblance.
