GUO Hongwei is a contemporary artist based in Beijing. He was born in 1982 and graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2004. He is known primarily for his watercolor series. In his recent works, he ventured into the field of collage and started to explore and to experiment with new dimensions in visual art within a given flat surface.
