General situation and camera location for your picture :File:Navigation_leading_markers_and_lights.JPG
Dear Peter, your picture :File:Navigation_leading_markers_and_lights.JPG is used on :de:Richtfeuer. There a discussion has arisen as to what the situation in Tangalooma is exactly. My hypothesis is that, since the signs appear quite far apart vertically, you must have taken the photo from a point fairly high above the water, possibly from a building or a hill. Another Wikipedian assumes that you may have taken the photo from the beach, maybe with your feet in the water, with the lower sign standing virtually in front of you. This, however, seems quite improbable to me. Can you please comment on this? Thank you. — Nol Aders (talk) 15:39, 3 August 2013 (UTC)

Hi Peter, thanks for your note at the New user log. Your interests are impressive! BTW, Wikipedia runs on MediaWiki; the developers would certainly be pleased if they were to read your praise of the software's usability. Anyway, welcome; I hope you enjoy contributing here, as I have. Chris Roy 22:28, 18 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Actually I saw your edit on one of the RAN related pages and meant to get in touch, but work has this habit of intruding!

We should catch up. My e-mail address is <firstname>.<lastname>@eds.com (gotta watch those e-mail address harvesters.

Anzac Day image

I was VERY pleased that this image 'lasted' for 4 years on such an important page (from the 90th Anzac Day, on 25 April 2005 until that day in 2009.)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sydney Cricket Ground, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page AAP (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
