Giroc (Template:Lang-hu) is a commune in Timiş County, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Chișoda (Tesöld) and Giroc. It is located near Timişoara, south of the city.

History

It's first documented reference is from 1371, in a document where Sigismund of Luxembourg, donates his Gyurec estate to Vladislau, the son of Stefan de Tarr.
