::Yes, that is my IP, sometimes I forget to sign in. But actually, that was only one comment, which you posted on Jimmy Wales' talk page suggesting that I was involved in libelous activity, which I was not. (in retrospect, i probably shouldn't have deleted it and instead left a comment, but i didn't know that anyone actually reads that talk page, and also it was not entirely accurate.) That was re: the page of Robin Haynes which got deleted (because I asked wiki editors to delete it). ::: Also, i'm *only* an editor on elance, and not even that, because mostly i "work" for free. i'm new to article writing and frankly, my freelance wiki jobs were to gain more experience in wiki editing (over half of them have been rejected and/or speedy deleted anyway) so i can contribute other articles later. but anyway, now that i've ranted about all of this, i'm perfectly fine with you closing my account, especially given the stance towards paid editors (which i am currently not because i familiarized myself with wiki 'ethics' in the past few days), if that's the decision.Neurosciency (talk) 08:55, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

Suspected sockpuppets

Sockmaster is likely paid editor (I have evidence off-wiki). Mqfix is an SPA which has solely edited Prosoft Engineering [1] and made links to this page and to The Data Rescue Center (Prosoft product) on List of data recovery software [2] [3] [4], that last edit being on Aug 21. On the same day, sockmaster added link to List of data recovery software here [5] for The Data Rescue Center, which redirects to Prosoft Engineering. Could be trying to evade detection or simply forgot to change accounts when making second link to same article on Aug 21. Logical Cowboy (talk) 21:38, 23 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I'm glad i used the search function to search for my username on all the wiki help/admin pages, because this is weird. This is my account, which i created two months ago to create the article Rivka Bertisch Meir. I have a couple of accounts from a few years ago but I forgot the passwords and don't use them. I had to look up what a sockpuppet is, and my account is not one. I don't have time to troll wikipedia, i love knowledge, and i have several other jobs (and yes, being an freelance writer has been one of them, as is posted somewhere on here, i can't find it at the moment).

I have been a pretty low key contributer to wikipedia for a while - couldn't have gotten through grad school without it. I'm sorry that whatever misunderstanding happened has escalated wildly out of proportion. Oh well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Neurosciency (talkcontribs) 05:53, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
