El Rosal is a neighborhood of Caracas, in the Chacao municipality. It is in the geographic center of the city, and an important financial center. El Rosal also has a small residential center which has, on average, some of the highest priced real estate in the country.

This neighborhood incorporates many of the most important enterprises in Venezuela, such as Caracas Stock Exchange, Asociación Bancaria de Venezuela, Banco Nacional de Crédito, Banco Canarias, Banco Federal, Banco Occidental de Descuento, Inverunión, Standford Bank (Venezuela), BFC, Banco del Tesoro, Banco Confederado, Bolívar Banco, Helm Bank, Interbank Seguros, BFC Casa de Bolsa, Bancaribe and Banesco Seguros. Some international firms such as 3M and Bayer have also been established there.

The Danish, Finish, Italian, Mexican, South African and Norwegian Embassies are located in El Rosal, as are some of the best hotels in the city.

Geography

El Rosal borders Libertador municipality to the west, El Retiro neighborhood to the east, Las Mercedes to the south and Caracas Country Club and Campo Alegre neighborhood to the north.
