Founded in 1963 by the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shraddhya C. B. Gupta, it is one of the most distinguished educational institutes in India.

History

The school was founded in 1963 by Shraddhya C. B. Gupta, the then Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, under the auspices of the Motilal Memorial Society. The foundation stone of this school was laid by Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, the then Prime Minister of India, on November 19, 1964. The school will celebrate its semicentennial in the year 2014.
