I believe the bit about 24 hour party people is a bit of a red herring and should at the most go in references.Aside from the fact that Factory owned the Hacienda their connection to the Acid house movement is tenuous to say the least and part of this ridiculous revisionist idea that rock bands like the Stone Roses and Inspiral Carpets had anything to do with Acid house. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.152.33.246 (talk) 09:06, 18 May 2008 (UTC) |

Is what this article is! I've re-written parts and expanded some but this really needs a thorough review by someone who knows what they're talking about!! /endrant 30 hertz (talk) 20:52, 5 September 2013 (UTC) |

Summer of Love was 1988
It was not 1989 as some may believe. I have a room full of magazines and newspaper articles to prove it. I'll revert the article back to 1988 again, and if its disputed, I might just have to list the references here. Be warned, it'll be a big list. 203.57.241.67 00:19, 7 February 2007 (UTC)Encise
I cannot believe anyone would argue it was 1989...they obviously were about 10 at the time or they wouldnt be trying to make such a ridiculous point.PS
