A quick statement from a ex-student of this horrible school. This school did not tolerate bullying until the principle Mrs. Arbuck had left. Before then, bullying was a taboo, ever since multiple students have been ASSAULTED on grounds and badly injured. If you are considering enrolling your child to this school, go north to Buttonville Public School, or even Lincoln Alexander to the west. This school not only runs a playground with no actual maintenance but also fails to de-ice the tarmac during winter. This has led to students getting injured. If you would like proof that I'm a ex-student, going from the front doors in you take a right and keep going straight down the hall and you end up at the teacher's lounge. You will have passed the library, a computer lab, four classrooms, and the Junior Kindergarten / Senior Kindergarten hall. The front of the library is glass windows with two grey doors. If you go down the hall the staff room is on the first bathroom is the girls followed by the boys. At the end of the hall is a stairwell. This takes you to Mrs. Illie's and Mr. Grant's room. Down either of the two intersecting halls are computer labs. This should be enough proof, if not go to the upstairs men's toilet and you should see some writing and a burn mark on one of the toilet roll holders in a stall. The roof should have stains from having wet toilet paper stuck to it. |

If this is not enough proof, in the back of Mrs. Lee's room there's a kiln. This was used for the pottery program that was open to the family's and students back when Mrs. Arbuck was at this school. Mrs. Klien's room is right next to Mr's Lee's. Next to her's is Mrs. A's. The music room, in the back there are multiple trumpets and two baritones. There's about 7 / 8 flutes. There is also two soundproofed rooms that would have the music book stands in them. The carpet was reddish when I was last at this school. |

This school has a bad and good history, it has broken great principles and empowered horrible ones. The school uses HP laptops for the Special ED department and HP netbook's for the rest of the school. These all run from Wireless G router's in their respective carts. |

Also beside the art room is a computer lab. In the stairwell closest to the kindergarten / TLS classes the walls are filled with cracks in the mortar. |

I will never forget my experience at this school. |

Ashton Meadows Public School (also known as A.M.P.S., AMPS, or simply Ashton) is a public elementary school in Markham, Ontario, Canada. It was named after nearby Ashton Meadows Park.
Ashton Meadows Public School is a feeder school for Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School.
At one point you could rip parts of the tarmac up and they were thrown at other people.
A few years ago the school was subject of a bomb threat. It was a picture of a bomb printed out put in the Kindergarten room after the windows were smashed out. Students have been spotted with knifes on premises as well. Bullying runs RAMPANT at this school. This school runs refurbished HP Desktops in the library and labs.
In the special ed department the teacher, Mr. Sickaconi, has been known for hateful actions towards multiple students until recently being diagnosed with cancer. It is now too late in life to apologize to the student's he's treated badly now that he's had a second look on life.
The trustable staff members are: Mrs. Papez, Mrs. Dano, Mrs. A, and the Teacher's Assistant Mrs. K. As for teachers not be trusted, we have Mrs. Lee. Many students can testify to her true personality but rather not in order to not be identified.

Also beside the art room is a computer lab. In the stairwell closest to the kindergarten / TLS classes the walls are filled with cracks in the mortar.
I will never forget my experience at this school.
History
Ashton Meadows Public School was officially opened in 1997. Prior to being named, the school was known as "Buttonville North" in honour of its location and in reference to the holding school, Buttonville Public School. Ashton is located in the western area of Markham. The school attendance area is bounded on the south by Sixteenth Avenue, on the east of Woodbine Avenue, on the west of Warden Avenue, and on the north by the homes on Personna Boulevard.
A child-care centre, Ashton Meadows Child Care, owned and operated by Upper Canada Child Care, is located at Ashton Meadows. The centre staff work closely with teachers and parents and administration to support students attending the school.
Growth and demographics
Ashton Meadows currently totals 390 students.[1] Fifty-three percent are male and forty-seven percent are female. 21.5% of students speak Cantonese at home, and there are several other languages spoken as well. Approximately 17.3% of the students are at ESL stages 1–4. Also, 7.5% of the students are identified with special education learning needs.
School events
Ashton Meadows Public School hosts and organizes several school and community events. The most notable ones include The Remembrance Day Assembly and The May Show. Other events include The Winter Electives, The Annual BBQ, The Halloween Dance and The Graduation Dance. Separate events are held for the Child Care Centre.
Athletics
Ashton Meadows has volleyball, basketball, and badminton teams. The teams are known as the Ashton Meadows Ambassadors.
Some of the Ashton Meadows Cross Country team members placed in the top 15 of their age group and qualified to compete in the York Region Meet at Bruce's Mill.[when?]
