London Start‑class Low‑importance

"Descent" Why is his "Irish and Welsh descent" pushed front and centre by mentioning it in the first line of his article? This is entirely out of keeping with almost every other article on Wikipedia. Seems like the usual suspects simply can't bear to let a biography of an English person stand without making aggressive ethnic claims on him. This sort of thing belongs two or three paragraphs in if it is indeed worth mentioning at all.
