Plot
Basic Overview
In this game Nancy is visiting her Aunt Eloise, when a student of a nearby school is brutally murdered. The student, Jake Rogers, was greatly disliked at Paseo Del Mar High. Nancy decides to investigate the murder and find out who murdered Jake and why.
Suspects
The suspects are the people you talk to and question about the murder and other things, there are four suspects: Daryl Gray, Hal Tanaka, Connie Watson, and Hector "Hulk" Sanchez.
Daryl Gray Daryl Gray is basically your informant, he can be found at Maxine's Diner, where he works. Daryl is the rich pretty-boy of the game who works at a diner and drives a Porsche.
Hal Tanaka Hal Tanaka is a nerdy sort of guy who studies all the time, you can find him in the study hall at the school. Hal is a foreign exchange student from Japan, he is trying to get a scholarship so he can go to college. Hal isn't his real name either, he just chose it to fit in better.
Connie Watson Connie Watson is a tough girl who is into judo, you can always find her in the student lounge. Connie is a pretty normal girl, with a dark secret.
Hulk Sanchez Hulk Sanchez is a stereotypical jock who may even play for the Manatees one day. Hulk does pretty well in school, the girls all love him, and he seems to have a great life.
Other characters
There are people you can call on the phone for hints and fun, the people you can call are: Bess Marvin, George Fayne, and Ned Nickerson.
Jake and Aunt Eloise are two characters you hear of but never meet.
Problem
Template:Spoilers The main thing people complained about was that the only time you met the culprit, Mitch, was at the end. The only other time was the code in Eloiose's book of flowers.
Another thing was the bolt-cutters, you had to get them. They were hidden very well. The only clues were hidden messages saying things like soup ladel bolt cutters, and othe cryptic things. When you did find the bolt-cutters you had to swap the soup ladel with them, so there isn't a gas leak.
Easter Eggs & Cookies
This game had quite a lot of cookies, but all the secret messages, such as: "Watch out Nancy" will not be listed here.

Throughout the game you will find many phone numbers on various things, most of which have humourous results, for your ease all the phone numbers are listed below.
