Radio Sunlight is a community radio station serving the Medway towns in Kent, England. The station broadcasts on 106.6FM throughout Medway.

As Medway has an existing commercial station, [Ofcom] Radio Sunlight's licence includes the unusual restriction of making no more than 10% of it's income from broadcasting on-air advertisements.[1]

History

The station originally started broadcasting online in 2006, run by local Medway charity the Sunlight Development Trust. OFCOM awarded the Trust the licence to broadcast on FM in 2009,[2] with transmissions starting 27th March 2012 on 106.6FM.
