Jeffrey Howard Piero Wincott (born May 8, 1957) is a Canadian actor, athlete and martial artist.

Personal life

Wincott's mother was born in Italy, and his father was born in England. Wincott was born in Toronto, Canada.

Jeff is the elder brother of actor Michael Wincott.

Jeff met his wife Charlotte in Los Angeles in 2002, and they were married on June 21, 2003. On November 30, 2009, she gave birth to their first child together, Wolfgang Anthony Wincott, named after her father, a F. Scott Fitzgerald scholar and English professor, and Jeff's brother Michael. Wincott lives in Manhattan, New York, where Charlotte is a doctoral student in neuroscience at New York University School of Medicine.

History

Wincott began on the stages of Toronto, Canada playing Mark Smeaton in Anne of the Thousand Days, Bogey in Play It Again, Sam, Albert Godby in Still Life and Bert Bentley in Red Peppers, Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet and Wolf in the Canadian premiere of Martin Sherman's play Bent, among others.
