Opting in to VisualEditor
As you may know, VisualEditor ("Edit beta") is currently available on the English Wikipedia only for registered editors who choose to enable it. Since you have made 50 or more edits with VisualEditor this year, I want to make sure that you know that you can enable VisualEditor (if you haven't already done so) by going to your preferences and choosing the item, "<code></code>". This will give you the option of using VisualEditor on articles and userpages when you want to, and give you the opportunity to spot changes in the interface and suggest improvements. We value your feedback, whether positive or negative, about using VisualEditor, at Wikipedia:VisualEditor/Feedback. Thank you, Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 20:23, 11 October 2013 (UTC)

Please stop removing commas from articles. In some cases your edits are pointless, in other cases your edits are creating grammatically incorrect sentences. If you wish to contribute to this project, please find something more constructive to do.

Two examples:
 • nonessential relative clauses require commas, a type of punctuation mark, to set them apart.
 • though it is clear to most, we use commas to separate subordinate clauses when they precede the main clause.

Nice cleanup! Thanks, MartinPoulter (talk) 21:25, 26 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Kisses on the Bottom, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Billy Hill (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi RjCan,

You may already know this, but you can change the text that is displayed for a link by using the pipe ( | ) mark. For example Edward Smith will be displayed as Edward Smith instead of Edward Smith (sea captain), but will link to the same article.

TACA Flight 110

Hey, I noticed you added the text "An unusual element of the amazing event is that Captain Carlos Dardano had but one eye." to the article TACA Flight 110. Wikipedia has a strict policy called neutral point of view, which describes how entries in the encyclopedia are to be written in a completely unbiased and neutral tone. Your addition seemed less than neutral to me. I might be a bozo for warning you about something that happened months ago, but I just wanted to be sure you don't do it again. Thanks! Ceuta

Thanks for your minor tweak - any interest in that area? Victuallers (talk) 16:45, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Courtesy call, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Minister (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

In your comments when you remove red links, you should probably use that term rather than "square brackets". Also, if you haven't already read this, please do: WP:Red_Link. Regards, Tarl.Neustaedter (talk) 03:25, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
