Introduction

Miko Miko Nurse (巫女みこナース) is a Japanese PC hentai game released on May 23, 2003. The game is most famous for its theme song "Miko Miko Nurse - ai no TEEMA" written by "Kashiwagi Ruzarin" and sung by "Chu". The song has been used in several fanmade flash animations and movies on the internet, and has become a small internet phenomenon. The fast part at the end of the song is the most well-known.

In the English-speaking world, the song is best known through a flash animation made by Dwedit. The animation uses only the fast part at the end of the song and features appearances by Steven Hawking, Barney, Dancing Mink, Pixie, Blue Virus, Red Virus, Yellow Virus Lain, Underpants Gnomes, FreeBSD Demon, Zelda Commercial Kid, Pikachu, Piakchu, Ness, Paula, Cheetahmen, Metroid, Captain N The Game Master, Miffy Bunny, Shigeru Miyamoto, Kim Jong Il, Dr. Evil, Dancing Fattie, Dr. Phil, Bald Bull, Hiho character (red), Special Olympics Runner, Mcdonalds Chicken Head, Leonardo, Paige Fox, George W. Bush, Lina Inverse, Ouchy the Clown, Stupid Guitarists, Ray Charles, Cliche Kitty, Domo Kun, James, Jeff, Poo, Monica Lewinsky, Pink haired girls (who?), and Nasu.

In Japan, the song was used in a commercial for a company called "Dwango" and the song has been available in some karaoke machines since December 27, 2005.

Trivia

• The lyrics "namamugi namagome" and "kaeru pyoko pyoko" are segments of well-known Japanese tongue twisters. In their entirety they are "namamugi namagome namatamago" and "kaeru pyoko pyoko mi pyoko pyoko, awasete pyoko pyoko mu pyoko pyoko".
• The flash animation by Dwedit started out as a response to a long rant on the Dragon-warrior.com message boards. It was an attempt to fit images to each line of the rant, until the insertion point of the dancing fattie.
• The image of Barney with red eyes in the Dwedit animation was one of the user's avatars on the Dragon-warrior.com message boards.
