NS 8811 'Stoom Stichting Nederland' The Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS) Class 8800 was a class of ex-British War Department Hunslet Austerity 0-6-0STs formed when NS bought 27 of them just after the Second World War. They had been built by the Hunslet Engine Company (12), W. G. Bagnall (3), Robert Stephenson and Hawthorne (RSH) (6) and Hudswell Clarke (6).

In addition, there were a few austerities that ended up in industrial use in Holland, and some of the NS engines joined them after their work for NS was done.

Preservation
