==Personal attacks==

It was you who started the personal attacks. Why are you so keen to see the English linked with the Germans? I can only assume that you wish to belittle or insult the English in some way. [[User:TharkunColl|TharkunColl]] 10:24, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

Why are you so intent on adding German? What historical basis do you have for this? What understanding have you got of British history, migration, formation of the English state and German state to come to this conclusion? Enzedbrit 21:11, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is Branagh Irish ? I mean he was born in Ulster, but its says hes British or English. Maybe he was an Ulster Scot, but does that deserve mention as being Irish ? Also ignore the fool above you, Germans should be included on the English page because of: related language, culture, history, and ancestry/genealogy. 65.92.94.115 11:43, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
He was born on the Island of Ireland, so he meets the major requirement for being called Irish. His article on Wikipedia describes him as being a "Northern Irish-born British actor and film director", which seems reasonable to me. See the short discussion the the talk page.
