In the early 90s when [[Guns N' Roses]] new album ''Use Your Illusion'' was the hottest thing since well, ''Appetite For Destruction'' basically. However later in 1991 [[Nirvana]] released their breakthrough ''[[Nevermind]]''. Lead singer [[Kurt Cobain]] publicly shared his dislikes for [[Guns N' Roses]] and how they make bad music. At the 92 VMAs [[Nirvana]] played their song [[Lithium]] and afterwards drummer [[Dave Grohl]] yelled "Hi Axl! continually.
Though this feud was never settled between Kurt and Axl, it was remotely settled twice, when Kurt Cobain killed himself in 1994 and when Velvet Revolver covered the 1989 Nirvana song "Negative Creep" for their "Slither" single.

Negative Creep

In the early 90s when Guns N' Roses new album Use Your Illusion was the hottest thing since well, Appetite For Destruction basically. However later in 1991 Nirvana released their breakthrough Nevermind. Lead singer Kurt Cobain publicly shared his dislikes for Guns N' Roses and how they make bad music. At the 92 VMAs Nirvana played their song Lithium and afterwards drummer Dave Grohl yelled "Hi Axl! continually. Though this feud was never settled between Kurt and Axl, it was remotely settled twice, when Kurt Cobain killed himself in 1994 and when Velvet Revolver covered the 1989 Nirvana song "Negative Creep" for their "Slither" single.
