The History of the Country of Albania by Movses Kaghankatvatsi (or Movses Daskhurantsi) is a history of a vanished people and of Armenians of Caucasian Albania living on the territory of present-day Azerbaijan, who spoke an extinct language, member of the Caucasian language family. The book was written in Armenian around 1000 A.D., and relates the history from about 600 A.D.
