Life Clock by Bertrand Planes is a modified clock that counts by sevens to eighty four with a mechanism slowed down 61320 times. Each number represents year: a turn is made each 84 years (12x7=84) (maximum life length average in Europe in 2006). Life clock numbers are 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, 63, 70, 77, 0.
Origin
Life clock was originally made by the artist in 2004, based on an average age of 80 years, and shown at "Maison: Temoins" , Paris in 2004
