Kshitij Wagh is an Indian playback singer and a music composer. Born and brought up in a middle class maharashtrian-sindhi family in Delhi, he came to mumbai in 2003, to follow his dream to become a playback singer in the indian film industry. Music and singing being in his blood, switching a career from software programming to singing was not a tough call. But the journey was bumby like a roller coster ride.
Now as a singer, songs to his credit include 'Mehki Mehki' a duet with Shreya Ghoshal, for the film Game, Starring Abhishek Bachchan, Kangna Ranaut and Sarah-Jane Dias, Music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, 'motu master' from 'Udaan' and 'Aashaon ke pankh' from priyadarshan's 'Bum Bum Bole'.
He has also sung some of the famous TV commercials like cadbury's 'aaj pehli tareekh hai', Aircel's Dhoni 3G commercial 'chup chup gap shap' and the Lux commercial starring Aishwarya Rai,'Har Kahin Chaaya hai yeh'.
He debuted as a music director for a marathi comedy film called Yedyanchi Jatra, starring Bharat Jhadav, Vinay Apte and Mohan Joshi which released on 3 February 2012. He won the best debut music director award for the film in chitrapadarpan puraskar, 2013 held in pune. The film has four songs that include a lavani 'kata Rutla',sung by Shreya Ghoshal, a sad song 'Uthale Vadal', sung by Shankar Mahadevan, a duet 'saanj gandhaalali' by Amruta Natu and Kshitij Wagh, and a title track by Kshitij Wagh, Suhas Sawant and Lalit Sharma.
The lavani has been performed by Shweta Tiwari and choreographed by Saroj Khan.
